Community Education
Harvard Local participants are local residents who have been moved to action by information concerning fossil fuel depletion, the consequences of a global fossil fuel-dependent economy, climate change, and benefits of local action.
Many of us might have preferred to continue in our busy lives devoted to raising children, making a living, tending our gardens, and pursuing the leisure activities of modern American life. Once aware of the possibilities that face us and our children, we have joined to work together toward a sustainable community that can better meet our future challenges.
